Edible Arts Tour: Kicking Off History Meets the Arts
Thursday, June 14 5-9pm
Come join us as we welcome Renowned Historical painter Keith Rocco and his new exhibit. At the same time enjoy world class food from Chef Claude Rodier from the Wyndham Gettysburg. This downtown tour kicks of the popular “History Meets the Arts” show, celebrating the country’s most noted historical artists. Five other Gettysburg Galleries will also be participating with other artists as well as local top-tier chefs.

History Meets the Arts

Meet American painter and storyteller Keith Rocco here at the Brafferton Inn. Mr. Rocco’s stunning works capture the drama of history. Book signing and artist reception: Gettysburg in Art and Artifacts, the only souvenir book on the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum and Visitor’s Center artifact collection, highlights Rocco’s paintings/illustrations. Colonial music by Tasker’s Chance will also be provided.
Gettysburg July Reenactment 2013
This huge event honoring the 150th anniversary of the battle of Gettysburg will take place on July 5-7th 2013. We have received thousands of phone calls and e-mails on how and when we would start booking our rooms, so we will try to explain that here.
We will start taking reservations for the event on Monday, July 9th, 2012 at 7am by online bookings only, please no phone calls. This can be done from our website at www.brafferton.com, by hitting the check availability button on the front page of our site. This event will have be a three day minimum stay requirement. Since demand will be high, we suggest going to our site early, as all rooms may be booked quickly. Once again, we will not be booking any of these rooms by phone, only online from our website to avoid double bookings.
